Japan's law enforcement has worsened, and bodyguards are a necessity in the new era. Asahi is employed as a bodyguard for Kisaragi Sakuya, the talented heir of a rich family. Asahi was brought up in downtown Tokyo, and she is very compassionate. But will she always be able to stand strong against the utterly cold Sakuya? This is a powerful, shoujo, bodyguard romance.

So far so good, Asahi is a strong character that'll surprise you with what she can do (and say) This is a funny manga by the mangaka of W Juliet.

This manga is really interesting so far, although I've only read the few chapters that have been translated and released by Shoujo Crusade and Manga Abyss. I love W-Juliet, and I was hooked from the first chapter of Grand Sun. Personally, though, I think the art in Grand Sun is better.

I love the banter between Asahi and Kisaragi Sakuya. It's one of the many things that got me hooked, along with the atypical notion - at least in manga - of the girl being the bodyguard and protector rather than the guy. And can that girl kick some butt!

Nice and cute -the guy really looks girly but is a tough guy! I reallly like the girl as she is rather fiesty and assertive - will not take ay crap from him! In reality - how many boys/men will like a female like that? Its one of my fav manga - can never get tired with this one - never a dull moment and fast moving paced one too - great!

i really like this manga. i love the girl ! its just something about a strong girl that is really cool considering the fact that most mangas, the girls are always the passive or needs to be protected...

Grand Sun! Emura-sensei has done it again by captivating my heart. I love Emura-sensei so much. Grand Sun is such a great series. Although, I've seen the rest of it in raw form, I can't wait for the scanlations. I wish MangaAbyss would do this one faster, but I'm more than happy to wait too! Asashi and Sakuya are adorable together.

Haha, I never notice this before but this was the same storyline as the movie that Makoto ( in W Juliet ) and Miura ( also in W Juliet ) act. If you read W Juliet 2 they talked about the preview of the movie which is really similiar to this series !! lol!

This is a great series. I like it (so far) better than W-Juliet from the same mangaka. The mix of main characters blends well. I like how the heroine is skillfully strong and easy-going at the same time.

I love Emura's works!!! The art is OK.Though the guy here is not so pretty as Makoto in W Juliet , the girl is more beautiful than Ito. And she has a great personality.I also like it that she is good at martial art but still cute and lady like.
